But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart
with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
1 Peter 3:4

As we look in Lamentations, we will examine questions like does God punish people? What does wrath have to do with God's love? How do I pray when I'm angry and suffering? Lamentations invites us to learn how to write and speak our own laments as we read about a God who invites us to voice our pain to Him.
