GROWING IN CHRIST TOGETHER
We believe children grow in faith when they are known, loved, and taught the truth of God’s Word in community. Sunday School is more than an hour of learning—it’s where young hearts begin to see the beauty of the gospel and how every part of Scripture points to Jesus.
Our teachers partner with parents to help children know, love, and follow Christ. Each lesson connects the Bible’s big story to everyday life, showing how God’s grace shapes our hearts, our choices, and our relationships. Together, we want every child to walk away confident that they belong to Christ and are part of His people.

God Leads His People
God's thrilling rescue of Israel from Egypt and how the Old Testament points to the Savior. In this quarter, children will discover that God calls His people to Himself, and He wants them to trust and follow Him. Through exciting Bible stories about Moses and the Israelites, children will begin to grasp that God is loving and powerful, He makes and keeps promises, He punishes sin, and He redeems and saves His people.

Growing in God
Children will discover that God has a plan for His people, and we can depend on Him for what we need. These truths are set forth in the stories of Moses: the deliverance of the people of Israel from slavery, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the people’s travails as they began the wilderness journey. Throughout the quarter, children will be directed to Jesus, God’s Son. He is the One whom God sent to deal with our disobedience and faithlessness. He paid the price for our sin, forgives us and gives us hearts that are willing to trust and obey our loving heavenly Father.

Understanding the Faith
This communicant’s class is designed to help children understand their salvation in Christ and membership in the church. The workbook is an age appropriate tool for teaching the truths of our faith based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. In addition, students who take the class will talk about baptism and the sacraments. Completion of the book gives the student the opportunity to become a member.
