Children's Church

Children's Church is currently being offered
during the sermon portion of the worship service
for children four years old through third grade.

We believe in the importance of all our kids worshipping with their parents and other adults, building relationships with older generations, and identifying themselves as part of the larger church community. Therefore we have resisted the frequent practice of children joining a separate group as soon as they enter on Sunday morning. We want them to learn they “belong”.

However, we recognize our younger children will be limited in their comprehension during the pastor’s message. Accordingly parents have the option of dismissing their children to Children’s Church, where they hear an age appropriate lesson.

Children are dismissed at the start of the sermon and are brought back during the closing song of the service.
For the fall semester, both classes will be learning stories from the New Testament by using the Dwell curriculum. This curriculum invites children to find their place in God's story, living into and out of it for the rest of their lives.
