Honoring God as Men and Women

1 Corinthians 11:2-16

Summary
This passage, though challenging, invites us to see not only the truth but the goodness of God’s design for men and women. Paul addresses worship in Corinth, correcting a misuse of Christian freedom that blurred God-given distinctions. Scripture affirms both the equality of men and women in dignity and worth, the complementarity of their distinct roles, and the responsibility to honor those differences in a way that reflects God’s design before a watching world. Rather than resisting or merely tolerating these truths, we are called to embrace and live them out beautifully for God’s glory.
