Zach grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and went to Wilmington Christian School. It was in high school that he first discerned a call to ministry. He then went to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he studied Business and Religion, but far more importantly it’s where he met his wife, Liz!
During college, Zach was the summer intern in his church’s youth ministry for two summers in a row and absolutely fell in love with it, which led him to work in full-time youth ministry for two years after college. As much as he loved youth ministry, Zach then spent the next five years working in the marketing industry; however, the Lord would eventually call Zach back into ministry at Cornerstone!
Zach has a passion for students and coming alongside them in one of the most important seasons of their lives. He also has a passion for studying theology as well as learning and applying God’s Word to life and to today’s culture. He also loves good coffee, Philly sports (go birds), being with friends and family, watching movies, playing music, reading books, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with Liz and their dog, Cooper.
