Life verses: Ezekiel 36:26, Isaiah 26:3
Music has always been a part of Uriah’s life. Growing up in a musical family, he began playing piano, guitar, and singing at a young age. A longtime member of Cornerstone PCA, he has been part of our church community for over 20 years—participating in youth group, singing in the choir, and eventually leading worship. It was at Cornerstone where he met his wife, Rachel.
While studying at the University of Delaware and attending InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Uriah developed a deeper love for worship and sensed a growing call to lead. Around that time, he officially joined Cornerstone’s praise team. He has now served on the team for over 18 years, building deep friendships and finding a strong sense of family among his fellow team members. Uriah is passionate about worshiping with the body of Christ—both at Cornerstone and in fellowship with believers from other local churches.
Outside of church, Uriah works as an engineer at W. L. Gore & Associates. Whenever possible, he loves spending time with Rachel, their two wonderful kids, and their extended family and close friends. He also enjoys jiu-jitsu, cooking, woodworking, fishing, listening to music, and beach days with his family.
Yes, there are a couple people that look alike on the music and AV team… sometimes he will answer when being called Jaimie… or Brian… it’s happened once or twice.
