Tim was born in Chicago and grew up on the East Coast after his family settled in New Jersey. From an early age, he attended churches where the gospel was clearly proclaimed. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, Tim came to understand his sin and his need for a Savior, realizing that nothing he could do would ever earn his salvation. Since that time, he has rested in the steadfast love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
Throughout his life, God has placed faithful people around Tim who have continually pointed him to Jesus and helped him grow in love for God and others—none more so than his wife, Bethany. Tim and Bethany met at the University of Maryland and married soon after. Following his graduate studies in Physical Therapy at Elon University, they moved to the Newark area, where they now live in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, with their five children: Kelly, Audrey, Frances, Jehu, and Therese.
