Rob Gregory

Rob grew up in a house that consistently went to a church that did not preach the Gospel.  God started drawing him closer in third grade as he struggled with adjusting to a move from Mechanicsburg, Pa. to Wilmington, Del.  God continued tugging at his heart as he battled loneliness in high school, and when he went to the University of Delaware, he became involved in the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship ministry. During this time, God captivated his heart and he gave his life to Jesus. The summer before his junior year of college, he took a step of faith and did an internship with a professional soccer club in Washington, D.C.  While his dependence and focus was on God, He blessed Rob with his future wife. Less than a year after Rob and Amy got married, God started to reveal His dream for him. No longer would Rob seek to advance his career in sports broadcasting, but instead he would begin his studies to become a teacher.  After living in Kentucky for less than a year, Rob and Amy settled in the tri-state area and became members of Cornerstone in 2004.  Rob taught middle school English at public schools in Delaware, and then God blessed him with the opportunity to teach English at Avon Grove High School.  During this time, God also blessed Rob and Amy with three boys (Eric, Tim, and Chris) and they moved from Oxford to West Grove to be closer to church and his place of employment. Rob started serving the church as a sound technician and nursery volunteer.  Then God prompted him to work with middle school youth, where he and Amy have been youth leaders since 2007.  Rob’s favorite Scripture is, “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
