Disability Ministry Vision for Cornerstone Church

Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:37-39, where He calls us to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,” and to “love your neighbor as yourself,” we, at Cornerstone Church, are committed to creating an inclusive community where every person, regardless of ability, is valued, embraced, and celebrated.

We believe that all individuals, made in God’s image, deserve to experience love, dignity, and respect. Our mission is to provide a space where children and families of all abilities can grow in faith, feel welcome, and belong. With open hearts and hands, we strive to remove barriers—whether physical, social, or emotional—so that everyone can fully participate in the life of our church.

We recognize that those with disabilities have unique gifts and perspectives that enrich our community. We are committed to empowering individuals of all abilities to serve in ways that reflect their God-given talents. Whether through leading, teaching, welcoming others, offering hospitality, participating in music, arts, prayer, or simply being a loving presence, we believe that every person has a role in building up the body of Christ.

In all we do, we seek to reflect the love of Christ by fostering an environment where people with disabilities are not only included but are seen as vital members of our faith community. By loving our neighbors as ourselves, we commit to ensuring that each individual’s unique gifts and perspectives are honored, and that every person can fully engage in service, worship, and ministry alongside one another.
