The Pursuit of Happiness

Psalm 1 | Sermon Resources | 5 January 2025

Sermon Summary

Truth matters. Ideas have consequences.  Our lives are carried along, at least in part, by the assumptions we hold.  Psalm 1 warns us of the danger of walking the “counsel of the wicked” and slowly absorbing the mindset of the world around us.  Instead, we are invited to partake of the source true life and happiness – the Word of God – by meditating on it. In the sermon Pastor Billy explores how we might put this into practice in our lives.
