2. Verse 1 says that faith is the “conviction of things not seen.” What are those unseen things and why can’t we see them apart from faith?
3. Looking at all the examples of faith in this passage, which one gives you hope and encouragement in your current situation? How so?

4. How does this passage correct someone who understands faith to be “believing something you know isn’t really true”?
5. Discuss this loose paraphrase from CS Lewis: “Faith is not about believing despite our reasons; it about believing despite our feelings.”
