In the sermon this week Pastor Billy explores “the hope set before us.”  We will consider three foundational hope-producing truths expressed in the passage: (1) God keeps his promises, (2) God is true to his purposes, and (3) God offers his presence.

  8. Our passage talks about a “sure and steadfast anchor of the soul.”  What do you think the author of Hebrews is attempting to convey to us with this image of an anchor? How does this encourage you?
