  3. Why might it be difficult to honor and obey one’s parents in some situations?
  4. What is wrong with being too strict in parenting?
  5. What is wrong with being too permissive in parenting?
  6. How do you find the balance between these two extremes of being too strict or too permissive?
  7. For parents with children still in their homes: In what areas would you most like to grow as a parent? 
  8. How can we as a church or as a Life Group better support parents?
  9. What does it look like for adults to continue to obey and honor their parents? 
  10. What is one thing you will do as a result of studying this passage?
