Read Matthew 6:11 & Exodus 16:4-12
- What evidence do you see around you, that like the Israelites, we live in a spiritual wilderness?
- Why do you think Jesus tells us to pray only for our daily bread? Looking at the Exodus account why does God only provide for their daily needs? What spiritual lesson do you think we are to learn from this?
- Looking at these two passages in what way does God demonstrate that his heart is for (and not against) his people?
- How does knowing God’s heart is for me and not against me, motivate me to pray?
- What might begin to change in your life if you really trusted God to give you what you needed for each day?
- What specific need would you like to ask your Father to meet today?
