In the sermon this week Pastor Billy resumes our Acts sermon series picking up with Acts 15 which many commentators consider the turning point of the book of Acts. He will explore the controversy that arose in the early church concerning whether or not faith alone was sufficient for salvation.

- What was wrong with what was being taught by the men who came down from Judea?
- What kinds of things are added to the gospel today? How can we address these things in our own lives?
- What would have been so wrong with creating two separate churches – one for the Jews and one for the Gentiles?
- What role does the Holy Spirit play in this passage?
- Spend some time discussing the contents of the letter sent to the Gentiles (v.23-29). Why do you think the council gave the instructions they did? Is there any application of this for us today?
