- 3 categories of bearing false witness
- Speaking what is false – white lies, lies of convenience, exaggeration
- Speaking what is true in a misleading way – politicians, the media, and us!
- Speaking what is true in a malicious way – Ephesians 4:15
- Jeremiahs 17:9-10
- 3 reasons why we bear false witness

- What are some ways we fail to keep the 9th commandment?
- Why do people lie? Spend some time discussing the heart issues behind the sin.
