Serving One Another

There are many ways to serve one another during this time such as delivering food and medicine, providing tech support, and donating a tablet or computer to someone without one. Please sign up HERE or call the office. The Bridge Food Pantry in West Grove is offering food assistance and needs volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 9:00am – 11:30am to assist with preparing food boxes and unloading deliveries. Call 610-869-9500 with questions. Donations to the pantry can be made HERE (under “Add special instructions to the seller,” write “For The Bridge food pantry”) or by mailing a check made out to “Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene” with “The Bridge” in the memo line. Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, 240 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390.

Shepherding Care

Please know that your church family is here for you. If you find that you are in spiritual need (i.e. pastoral care, prayer, etc.), we encourage you to contact your Shepherding Elder. To find who is your Shepherding Elder, email Pastor Dave. You may also submit a prayer request HERE or call the office. You may also receive a call from the women’s ministry prayer team checking up on you.

Student Ministries

Parents we are here to support you and your teen during this unexpected and unsure time.

Here is some helpful information:

  • Connect to your teen! Click HERE for some family communication tips and some good discussion starter questions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in your teens world. Subscribe to the Cultural Translator HERE. This is a weekly email informing parents of the recent trends in our teens’ world.
  • This is a great time for family devotions. Pick a time, gather the family, and read God’s word together.
  • We are available for care/counseling. Cornerstone has a prayer page HERE, and you can always reach out to me as well.

Here is our current ministry plan to teens:

  • Weekly Large Group – Revolution Sundays at 7:00pm and UTX Thursdays at 7:00pm
  • Small Group Meetings – Revolution small groups are meeting regularly (email Tim Malone for details), UTX groups will meet occasionally and parents will be notified.
  • We are challenging students to read one chapter of Proverbs every day for 31 straight days.
  • We are posting reminders and an occasional leader devotion on our Instagram page HERE
  • Our leaders are writing letters (old school!) and texting students to keep connected.
